The city has some of Sweden's biggest companies like IKEA and Tretorn. Lund University has a campus located in Helsingborg. The city also has a very innovative environment for entrepreneurs. Vision Helsingborg 2035 is a guide for the city authority to work towards a more creative, vibrant, global, collective, and sustainable future. Visionfonden from the city of Helsingborg offers financial support to companies or individuals who want to implement ideas that help Helsingborg to achieve Vision Helsingborg 2035.
Future Fashion Collective has received the financial support from Visionsfonden for the project Helsingborg, en cirkulär textilstad tillsammans. The project will run between January and June, and it consists 5 different workshops where representatives from different stakeholder groups with interests in sustainable textile management will gather together and discuss how the city of Helsingborg can become more circular in terms of textile management as both waste and resource. The first four workshops are open to public, and the last workshop will be a co-creating process guided by a professional design-thinking facilitator.
More information regarding each workshop will come up soon at this website as well as our social channels.
